Does anyone know the green paints used for the skin and scales of a stegadon on the official GW box? I'm trying to replicate it, but I'm not sure what greens to go for, specifically for the skin.

The light skin makes me think Death World Forest, Athonian Camoshade and then highlight with Straken Green and Ogryn Camo.

Darker scales are a bit trickier, but I don't think you will go far wrong with doing Stegadon Green, Nuln Oil, Kabalite Green, Sybarite Green.

Thanks for the suggestion, I have both death world forest and athonian camoshade in my paint box already so that could be really neat. Had a second look at the box- it suggested Loren Forest?

As for the darker scales themselves, I got those done already- managed a lovely result with two neatly thinned-out coats of Caliban Green drybrushed with Moot Green.

That paint job is actually almost 10 years old and uses the older paint range which doesn't exist anymore. The Loren Forest suggestion is because of the original color (Knarloc Green). However I think Elysian Green might be a bit closer, and it's a paler green than Loren Green. Deathworld Forest is probably a bit too dark, but it a good base coast for Elysian Green.

The Crisis Suit in my avatar was painted with Knarloc Green.

Mostly agree with the suggestions above, you wont go far wrong with any combination of Loren Forest, Death World Forest, Straken Green and Elysian Green. Have a look at them.

Decided to go with Loren Forest after all. Do you or anyone else have a suggestion for a highlight colour to that?

Straken Green or Elysian Green as they both have that 'off-green' shade to them but will both visibly highlight from a Loren Green base. You would be spraying the model black first yes?

Yeah. I actually got pretty far already- I primed it black, then basecoated it nurgling green. The scales got two thin coats of caliban and were drybrushed with moot green, the skin got two layers of loren and a wash of athonian camoshade, leaving only the highlighting.
