Hello, I was wondering if anyone knew of any good small scale (10-30 models/side) skirmish rules for Napoleanics, ACW, and the like?

Song of Drums and Shakos from Ganesha Games might be a good choice for Napoleonics. I enjoy playing the French & Indian War version.

Sharp Practice 2 by Too Fat Lardies is supposed to be very good. It's what I would try if I was going to play Napoleonic Skirmish.

I was intrigue d by the threads title, and was disappointed that it was only a typo.
Chosen Men by Osprey may fit the bill for what you are actually after.

I like Sharp Practice but it's still not small enouch.
Chosen Men looks interesting (if a little old school GW) so I might check that out.
(And sorry my thread title wasn't clear [which is somewhat ironic as I *do* wish I could find a really small scale rule system for massive Napoleanic games!)

That's not what was being referred to. The comment was actually about the missing 'd' in the fourth word, which makes it look like something else entirely...
(at least for US forum-goers)

Donny Brook is a good alternative. The rules can work with Napoleonics

I love Fistful of Lead, and the author has released a variant which should fit what you want:

He also sells the set as a PDF if printed books are not what you are looking for.

En Garde! covers up to about the 1700s. It is designed for 5-15 models per player.

It could be adapted for later periods by altering some of the rifle rules to account for rifled barrels and better ammunition.
