I'm surprised the Glorious Leader didn't have the balls to make the trip himself. After all, he probably designed and built the rocket ship personally. Maybe his adoring and loyal people wouldn't let him risk himself like that.

My armies (re-counted and updated on 11/1/23, including modeled wargear options):
Dark Angels: ~15000 Astra Militarum: ~1200 | Adeptus Custodes: ~1900 | Imperial Knights: ~2000 | Sisters of Battle: ~3500 | Leagues of Votann: ~1200 | Tyranids: ~2600 | Stormcast Eternals: ~5000

If they weren't so bloody warmongering, NK would universally be regarded as the comedic country run by a crackpot.

As much as I hate war, IF North Korea goes a bit too potty, then I wouldn't shed a tear if crazy trousers himself Kim got outed in a military campaign. Then hopefully nearly 60 years of a divided country could start to heal.

Unfortunately many innocents would die in the process as well as many people who know no better.

It's satire, hence the other headlines are stuff like "Trump’s Health Care Bill Just ‘Kill The Poor’ Written In Blood".

The best satire is that which is makes you ask that question however

IRON WITHIN, IRON WITHOUT.

New Heavy Gear Log! Also...Grey Knights!
The correct pronunciation is Imperial Guard and Stormtroopers, "Astra Militarum" and "Tempestus Scions" are something you'll find at Hogwarts.

Satire...

Well its pretty damn close to being real.
Sounds like a internal claim they would make.

Omg, their technology is so much more advanced than ours. We are all doomed. The best course of action now probably is to bow down very deeply at the glorious feet of the Great Leader, finally acknowledge his greatness and superiority and beg for his mercy. Then, like the benevolent Father of the People he is, he will welcome us wayward sheep back into his flock and we will forever bask in his magnificent glory on the slopes of Mount Paektu. Truly the Great Leader is wise.

They tell nonsense to their people. People do not believe, but pretends to believe. A slightly different situation than in Russia or in the West. Our governments lie to us and we really believe everything.

More like our governments lie to us but we don't even care.

Which is an even bigger problem.

Glorious leader knows that if he landed on the sun and planted the North Korean flag there, those egotistical Americans would throw a tantrum and waste billions of dollars trying to outdo his magnificent feats. Glorious leader cares more about the American people than their own overlords and wisely steers the Washington regime from such excesses by outsourcing his magnificence to a regular cosmonaut.

That sounds more realistic than the Sun claim .

"Our fantasy settings are grim and dark, but that is not a reflection of who we are or how we feel the real world should be. [...] We will continue to diversify the cast of characters we portray [...] so everyone can find representation and heroes they can relate to. [...] If [you don't feel the same way], you will not be missed"
