Hi guys, I've recently fallen in love with the look and vibe of Pre-Heresy Thousand Sons, and I want to build a small force that I can use in 40k that is modeled to represent some TS who may be far removed from the conflict surrounding Prospero at the time of HH (perhaps stationed elsewhere in the galaxy and sent away by Magnus...). I'm specifically not trying to run Blood Ravens, but want everything to be perfectly legal and within the new army lists when 8th edition finally drops. I've heard lots of suggestions that I try using Grey Knights, but I'm drawn toward Blood Angels as well simply due to the fact that I have several tactical squads i could convert alongside some librarians, and I would love an excuse to run an Osiron Dreadnought as a Librarian Dread. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to move forward and any particular units who's rules I could base a fun thematic list around? Trying to keep things pretty loyalist here which is why I've steered clear of CSM thus far. Cheers!
