Cultist of Nurgle with Open Sores

I am slowly slogging away at my Nugle army, and am trying to up my painting skills....slowly. This is my 2nd army, and my 2nd attempt.

I know I am not great at painting, but I keep trying . I tend to get stuck on what colors I should use since I dont really paint to reflect a certain chapter or faction.

So, I am painting my plague marines, and I am nearly done, but I just cant figure out what color to do the lenses. I have looked over tons of picture for ideas. I was first thinking a green (warpstone glow), then I was thinking a dull blue, and even thought a red...maybe even orange? Just keep them black??? Arrggg..

So Dakka, please help me. Give me some ideas on what color the lenses/eyes might look good and nurgly!! I appreciate any feedback!

Here is a couple of pictures of the guys

I like a contrasting colour, personally (also doing Death Guard at the moment), but it just depends on what you like. Mine are far less Nurgley but I've gone with a bright blue.

A 3-way complimentary may work:
Green as main colour.
Organic elements more toward purple (the pink-ish colour with that green is a direct complimentary)
Eyes and Orange colour.
Was just looking at colour wheel and you seem to be going in the right direction.
