Can anyone recommend some (really) oldschool 2 player / coop games?

Im firmly looking for SNES/Megadrive/Amiga era through emulators that I have (I cant get my MAME emu to work so arcade versions/games are out).

Off the top of my head so far I have:

SoR2 - Megadrive
Super Smash TV - SNES
Final Fight - Amiga
Super Contra - SNES
SWIV - Amiga

Thanks!

Super Smash TV - YES!

Lost Vikings was a fun one.

Super Mario world for SNES was alot of fun co-op, even if you just took turns to play. Same can be said for Donkey Kong.

His pattern of returning alive after being declared dead occurred often enough during Cain's career that the Munitorum made a special ruling that Ciaphas Cain is to never be considered dead, despite evidence to the contrary.

If you don't mind hard there is Adventures of Batman and Robin on the Genesis/Megadrive.

Amidst the mists and coldest frosts he thrusts his fists against the posts and still insists he sees the ghosts.

Golden Axe series, Streets of Rage series, Toejam and Earl and if you're looking for a couple of great 1v1 ones as well I recommend Herzog Zwei and Doctor Robotniks Mean Bean Machine, all on the Megadrive.

For the Amiga, Speedball 2 and Chaos Engine, Alien Breed for co - op.

Swiv was awesome, but I think I preferred Silkworm. It was hard being the jeep!

Golden age of gaming man...

TMNT for sure. TANKS, iirc, also had a coop, though I could be wrong, haven't played that in many, many years
