Subject: Thousand Sons vs Imperium - 2000 pts [8th Edition Play Test]
Those minis are beautiful. Dont see yall measuring movement much... is that just how you play it up there in Albany (hahaha). Kidding. Thanks for the BR. only half way through. Looks like that Imperial army may have been list tailored for magnus? You guys are old adversaries, I see. Looking forward to finishing up the report... only half way so far.

Thank you for posting all of your 1000 Sons bat reps.
Indeed it seems like you two are old adversaries and this was Kill Magnus list he brought, lol. Hey, when you know your opponent and what they will bring it is hard not too.
Have you played any additional games with Magnus where you made use of his aura?
Thanks again Thoth!

glad you're finding the Battle Reports enjoyable. More to come.
I've played one more game with Magnus -> http://www.battle-report.com/2017/06/16/tau-vs-thousand-sons-necrons/. However, did not get to benefit from his re-roll 1s to hit/re-roll Inv 1s. He pretty much flew across the battlefield, then psy-moved one more time (for a 32" move), charged a Tau gunship and smacked it into oblivion.
Still play testing Sons and Tzeentch as well as allied (Hellforged) Forgeworld models, trying to figure out a half decent list. At the moment, it looks like the Daemon Lord of Tzeentch (700 pts) will be keeping Magnus (415 pts) company for a dual psy-fly-hard hitting monster combo.
Cheers,
Thoth
