I have a problem with a replace mechanics, and I'm not sure how it works. I will explain my problem in an example:

I have broadside and I want to replace heavy rail rifle with two high-yield missile system.

Broadside cost 80 points and heavy rail rifle is included.

Option 1) I pay additional 82 points for two high-yield missile system. so the broadside 162pt
Option 2) I pay additional 82 points for two high-yield missile system but subtract from cost 63 points for heavy rail rifle so I pay 99 points for broadside

Can someone clarify it for me?

The 80pts do not include any wargear.
So a standard broadside (HRR + 2 SMS) is 80 + 63 + 2*20 = 183pts.

The rail rifle is not included in those 80 points.
When they say without wargear, they mean without weapons.
Those 80 points are for the broadside's base stats and rules, NOT the weapons.
