I would like to paint Ahriman as he is seen in this picture, with that darker color scheme. Although I have a few ideas for the colors, I'd appreciate it if anyone could give me some advice on what to do and what colors to use to achieve a scheme like that.

That would be sexy. I can't give you GW colours as I don't use them, but the start would be dark blue or grey for the robes, and the usual bone/brown for the boney bits. Probably a decent brass/old gold for the metals.

Blend up from your dark blue or grey to a lighter version. It'd b e a sick one to pull off.

I like the idea of the robes being a deep dark blue, but what color would the armor plates like the shoulders and the non-metallic bits on the chestplate be? Would the model look too monochromatic if both the robes and the armor is dark blue?

It seems to be greyish blue and bone.

Arashen, Segmentum Pacificus

I'd start with something along the lines of Astronomican Gray for that bluish grey look.

I saw with eyes then young, and this is my testament.

The robe has two layers, so it seems like the bottom layer is grey and the top layer is a very dark blue, but the shoulder plates are also dark blue (I think).

Im pretty sure its the standard color scheme blue white and gold/brass but the picture has been made moody by toning everything down.

so just take the standard color scheme, tone down EVERYTHING.
