I did back the Form1 on Kickstarter, and am happy that I did despite some issues (having gone through the Form1, Form1+, and now Form2 until they finally got it right!). But the number of 3d printer projects that fail to deliver a quality product is staggering. Conversely, those that deliver well and anywhere near on time are like a needle in a haystack.
I'd go with an established FDM printer for rough prints, or a B9 Creator or Form2 for some basic miniatures-level prints. But honestly, there are so many great services to print through now, that's a really attractive option for most people,
imo.
Anyway, just wanted to agree with this warning!
