I haven't posted on the forums for a while, but with the new renders coming soon I thought I would take this opportunity to show you a WIP shot of our new Goblin Skulk. he will be available as part of our forthcoming Goblins KS later this year.

This is only a WIP progress. We are looking to make him longer in the leg and to billow the cloak backwards a little more to be more dynamic.

Those of you who backed our first KS will notice that he may be familiar. During our first KS the Skulk was available as a KS exclusive miniature. He has been slightly redesigned to fit with our current aesthetic and will be available to all backers when the KS launches.

To be honest I'm not sure about it - things like the sewn on ear and the cape don't really come across as well in the render (although I know you said the cape is being worked on).

More broadly, I'm not sure how a limited number of unique resin goblins would do as a campaign.

I'm very likely to back (loved your first campaign especially, and backed the second as well) but thought it might be helpful to voice the above. It also seems like the production partner you're using is geared towards small resin runs - again just not sure how goblins really fit with that. Looking forward to hearing more!

The likelihood will be that we have numerous sculpts for the project. We also have not ruled out using plastic and I am still negotiating with several companies about doing so. It is also likely that even if we do go down the resin route we will deliver 6 bodies with numerous weapon and head combos making many variants.

On top of this we have loads of stretch goals for this campaign along with working with more than one manufacturer. I have been quiet for a while but that time has been spent negotiating and speaking with many diffeeent companies to make the next campaign better than the last. This will include using a third party pledge manager and with some additional staff (not just me) to help.

We have wolfraiders, champions, monsters, hobgoblins, bugbears and all manner of other stuff for the new campaign.

Many thanks... The next KS is planned for later this year but I am in no rush. I am gradually getting the renders completed and hop to have a few more available before we launch with some of the stretch goals having new art work too.

Probably be the first Goblins I ever own. Was disappointed when the last on failed. Will we see some previews of your undead?

We will be doing an Abominations KS after this one, possibly combined with the Lizardkin. We will have some new artwork, renders and other goodies to show you nearer the time!!

Will there be options to buy options instead of buying a full model to get certain parts?

Notably I would like the Croc head on the giant club wielding lizard, and it says parts are available separately.

Eventually there will be options. We did it like this to make pre-orders easy. Having parts you can select on each model is a logistical nightmare. However, we will eventually have the spare parts available separately to enable people to magnetise etc.

In preparation for the Goblin Kickstarter next year we have been working on some new artwork sketches to show some of the concepts for the new miniatures. I plan for each set to have different head options and for the goblin heads to be mixed with other goblin sets. Here we have our first set of concept sketches for the Goblin Headcleavers, probably the first stretch goal of the campaign!
