This is my Capt in gravis armor, I got the scales on his hip upside down, so I'll probably redo those...

Good stuff. Don't redo it, you probably have a thousand other models that need painting, plus who says scales have to point downwards anyway?

That is some really solid painting, how did you go about making those bases if you don't mind sharing. I tried doing something similar with crackle paste but I really like the look of these.

Here's a quick how to that I made for these. You can also just tear them, place them, then flip it over and trim the edges.
