Rumor is that the program Paint will be removed in an upcoming Windows 10 update:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-4724592/Microsoft-looks-set-remove-Paint-Windows-10-update.html

Not sure if it is true or not, though I have seen the article on a website called "Verge" as well.

It's one of the most useful programs on my computer as odd as that sounds lol. I am hoping that they allow me to just... I don't know... keep the program? I typically use it for simple things like saving a screenshot, tasks that would take forever with more advanced programs.

You say Fiery Crash! I say Dynamic Entry!

Don't worry. There's a bajillion free versions of it, which is honestly probably why they're removing it. If you need you're screenshot editing to get done, go ahead and pick up Paint.Net. You'll be good to go

Nooo! I use Paint as my main form of screenshotting at work, and they are too uptight to allow us to install programs ourselves. I also learned to make a pretty good meme on Paint too.

Oh wait, I have Windows 7 on my work computer. Cheapskates...

Windows 10 spends months trying to convince me to upgrade. "Windows 10 will be great, the upgrade will go fine!"

"We're taking your MS Paint away."

So Paint3d may replace it? I am more surprised they would drop Outlook Express, since they so heavily promote their linked products. I guess it will have some version of Outlook, though.

Paint has been given a reprieve, apparently.

Snipping Tool should be preinstalled and is actually better for this purpose, generally.
