4. Do beasts still retain the ability to ignore difficult terrain and move through cover at full movement speeds?
5. If I can position my units behind my enemy and trap them in between impassable terrain, and fight them. Can he choose to disengage on his turn and walk forward and around impassable terrain looping back to his table edge?
Thats it for now. More question later. Appreciate any help please.
1. No, your unit just doesn't move.
2. No, all charging units go first. Although there's a stratagem that can modify that, and a few units have related special abilities.
3. If its not on their datasheet, no they don't. And running is now called an "advance move."
4. There's no such thing as difficult terrain anymore. Most types of terrain don't slow your movement. I think its only forests that do. But if its not on the datasheet, or in the specific type of terrain rules, then no.
5. Impassable terrain isn't a thing in the rules. Infantry can move vertically up to their move distance. Ruins and buildings are permeable to infantry. The rule for disengage is called a Fall Back move. But models block movement, so if he can't physically find space to move his models between yours, he can't disengage. If you leave gaps, he can. Oh and if he can fly, he can.
