Hey Dakka community. Starting a painting thread for my tiny commissions business. I'm based in NJ and accept all miniatures and board game models, but will hear out any other requests you may have. I can handle a decent range of conversions and once I finish my Malanthrope (Painting it) I can show you some of the kit bashing I've done to some pretty great effect. A lot of my orders so far have been Guildball teams (I have a friend going to the international tournament in Belgium this September, I believe its their Worlds tournament) and a few of his friends have been my first customers. I'm really excited and enjoy helping out other players get some great armies on the field (With the only grey being painted on ;D).

I have a facebook page at: https://www.facebook.com/Vellucyraptor/
and will probably open an etsy soon (A friend recommended it.)

I tend to charge by three levels:
Tabletop - Your basic standard quick and dirty. Average around 50% price of models
Professional - Fancy it up by picking out details, highlights and washes, most Nonmetal metals on request. Includes assembly and basic basing. Good Stuffs here. Averaged around the price of the original model.
Showcase - Take my time and do literally the best job I can for each model. Can't do rush jobs on these. Will include basing and assembly of course. Freehand elements, focused lighting effects, really planned out. Average between 200-300% of the original model price.

Freehand elements such as tartans can be added for a price as well as certain conversions and magnetizing.
If you own bases already that you would like the models on they will be painted at your selected level as part of the cost, at no extra.

I would like to mention that I am up for negotiations (Especially on larger orders) and even possible trades for services. My main armies are Tyranids (And GSC), Salamanders, and Thousand Sons (Daemon Engines are wonderful). If you have the original Grasshopper Biovores I'm in desperate need of those xD

Here are some of my first projects:

Complete stuff generally goes in showcase if you're looking for critique.

Fair warning, commission painters get judged on professional standards. You may want to have a check through the threads there before leaping in with an advertising thread though. Lots to learn from what I can see. It's late, and I'm grouchy, but do PM if you want some advice and I'll try and be constructive.

This is meant to be an ongoing thread so I'm sorry if I've done something wrong. Was intending to throw up pics of the team im painting up next not just completed stuff and I am definitely aware I have a lot to learn but constructive criticism is always welcome. Only way to improve is to do though so I'm hoping as I do more and more i continue to learn and improve.

Ill add the picks of the union guildball team im currently working on when I get the photos on my computer later as well as a and fig a friend would like my.to turn into a medieval captain America (pretty excited about that one)

You have a huge PM. I was tempted to post it publicly, if you feel like sharing it, post it up here for folks to see.
