I initially intended to craft hwt autocannons for my RH army with the 60mm bases. Autocannons got bumped up to 10 more pts. I then contemplated building hwt mortar because RH infantry has bs5+ which sucks.

I have an idea to glue 2 of my cultists to the base and scratch build some mortars launchers.

Is this a good idea for my heavy support choice or am I wasting time? I have like 18 bases. What other models can I make on a 60mm bases?

I think it would be pretty fluffy to have them as mortars, you could model them to be firing skulls or blood for Khorne, pus for Nurgle, Fire for Tzeentch and...Other fluids for Slaanesh.
