Is there any difference between SM ans Scout bikes? Is it compatible? Or similar? Can I put scout biker on SM bike?

They are different bikes. It’s been so long since I’ve put my scout bikes together, I'm wary of offering advice. I think they are compatible, or at least really close.

The scouts are more off-road looking, less amor/bulk. but broadly the same.

Yeah, they are different looking, but not much, mostly in the front. They just have an open wheel on the front, instead of a cowling around the front wheel. Otherwise they are compatible with each other.

I tried one of my scouts on a SM bike and he fit just fine.
