I was trying out a few lists with Roboute and thought, why not a brigade? I was originally going to attempt this list earlier this week, but switched it out for something a bit less model heavy.

Basic tactics - Rob buffs everyone close, take all the objectives with the troops, snipe the enemy characters, blow up enemy vehicles, etc.
With this many bodies, I should be able to deploy in such a way as to deny deepstriking behind me. I just have to remember to do it!

Is this too WAAC or would this be fine at your local Gamestore?

Definitely a lot of models on the table. 8th seems to be a battle of the zergs (nothing wrong with that, I can table more than 100 marines if I wanted).
Please post some battle reports, cause I am curious as to how well this performs compared to razorbacks getting the buff from Robby G Unit.

I was able to play with this list and it did well, though I did not. I was up against one of the better players at my store, and he did not disappoint. His list had abbadon, kharn, 2 daemon princes, a defiler, 2 havoc squads, a squad of obliterators, 2 units of berzerkers, one in a rhino, and 2 units of cultists. 2000 points in the relic. I had him down to a handful of units at the end, but he was able to systematically destroy my army. Rob died at the end of turn 5, so he made it a fair way. I was tabled, but I know I could have done better with the units I played. Mostly since I lost soooooo many units to his obliterators. They are super good now.

FOr 10 pts more you can upgrade Assmarines to vanguard vets. 2 atk vs 1, arm all with chainsword and 5 guys get 16 atk.
