Hey guys! 10 of us had a 2000 point tournament this last weekend using the ITC rules. With Swiss pairing, we had three rounds (two undefeateds remaining after two) and a champion was determined in the 3rd round.

3) Death Guard, Nurgle, FW Heretic Astartes
4) Death Guard, Nurgle
5) Imperium (Grey Knights, Officio Assassinorum)
6) Necrons (Sautekh w/Grand Illusion)

8) T'au Empire
9) Tyranids
10) World Eaters
Round 1:
- T'au Empire over Craftworlds (19-0)
- Necrons over World Eaters (18-1)
- Blood Angels over Death Guard, Nurgle, FW Heretic Astartes (14-5)
- Orks over Imperium (17-1)
- Tyranids over Death Guard, Nurgle (18-1)
Round 2:
- World Eaters over Craftworlds (14-8)

It's sad most of those games looked like complete blowouts. Very few came down to just a few points. Losing by a point or two seems to be much more fun than winning by a blowout. Still good to see what's considered the "lower tiers" doing well.

Most of the ITC scoring is blowouts due to the nature of the scoring (8 for winning, 0 for nothing, even if you lost by one maelstrom point, etc).
I don't really think there's high and low tiers right now. Regionally, certain lists and armies to better than others but overall I think it's been pretty balanced.
