Been looking to get back in to my Blood Angels Army with the new jump pack assault rule, so I came up with a quick 3000pt list. Looking for advice on the list please.
Models with Jump packs do count as infantry as they all have the INFANTRY keyword and do not lose it when they get jump packs, so the sanguinary priest's ability would work on all models in my army other then the vehicles
-successor- 12000pts
-Cadia- just starting, based on
'Gunheads'- 1000pts
Does each sang. Guard have a death mask? The -1 to ld is nice but I feel the points could be put to better use. Though also my personal preference.
In a list like this I would opt to keep my HQ's cheap to max out my infantry. I would also drop the captain and maybe the Libby to go with more sang. Priests for the healing goodness.
Last suggestion is dropping upgrades to death company aside from JPs. Go with quantity they have volume of attacks on their side. Then use sang. Guard for power weapons and the like since they get them anyways.
Looks like a right fun list though. Much luck in your gaming adventures.
So whipped up a quick list to help with your 50% problem, trying to capture the theme you wanted and balance the number of units starting on board vs. In reserves.
I opted for a battalion detachment over the spearhead, simply because the Razorbacks can fill the roll your Baal preds would do. Also more command points.
It's pretty straightforward business as usual for anyone with JPs and anyone without is in a transport.
It is done slightly to my preferences but there are some points to spare, so tweak away and I hope this helps.
