*clears throat*

I've been reading on Dakka for years now, but never thought I had anything useful to say, or maybe was just too lazy. Well I dusted off the Internet Zuit Suit and am here to party! I've been into 40k since early 5th edition. First army was Guard, then Tau. When 6th came out all my stuff was stolen, so I started over. I played Guard, Chaos Space Marines, and Space Wolves. When 7th came out I tried Blood Angels and Orks but settled on Space Marines. I still have the Space Marines and run both Raptors and Crimson Fists with them. I picked up some Deathguard when 8th dropped and use them as my fun fluffy army and to have two sides when I am teaching new people. I have a pretty good grasp on the rules, so I help out the local guys in this regard a lot, and I love pointless number crunching and optimization discussions, so that will probably have a lot to do with what I read and post about. At any rate I'm glad to be a part of the team and hope I can give as much as I get.

Cheers!

Welcome to Dakka! Reading that your stuff was stolen sounds awful. But glad that you found back to this great hobby.

Thanks! It definitely sucked, and I stopped playing for over a year. I had about 3k points of guard and 2k of Tau at the time. The guard really hurt because I spent th extra to get the cooler looking DKK and Armageddon models. The bright side is that I am much better at painting now that I have started over and juggled a few armies.

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka
