Not sure if this is being posted at the right place but hey. So I'm planning a Nurgle corrupted Dark Mechanicus army: corrupted skitarii vanguard, onagers, tech-priests, kastelans etc. and I just wanted some feedback. Should I play them as normal admech with the same rules (considering them forge-world mars), or would it be better to play them as various Nurgle units or something similar? Also would you be put off by seeing nurgly admech units seeing that, as far as i know, it isn't particularly fluff friendly.
Just wanted some opinions, cheers.

It's considerably easier to play them as Ad Mech. All the weapon options and such will be what you get in the boxes, instead of having to either proxy or get weapons from bits sites, and everything will be on the right bases, instead of having to rebase onto something that is used by demons/csm.

So while you can definitely make it a huge project of counts-as, doing it all with Ad Mech rules is by far the more manageable project, and I would heavily recommend it.

Wait 'till all the forgeworld boni have been leaked and take the most resilient of them . I'm partly with purifier here, though I also think it really depends on the scale of your conversions. Are they green Admech units with some rust or are they highly corrupted "plague-skitarii"? if it's the latter and you really fancy Nurgle I'd say find a way to use them as either DG or FW proxys that your opponent can easily understand. Plasma-calivers being plasma guns for example.

There is also the Renegades and Heretics list.

1) It can take the Hellwright or Hellwright on Dark Abeyant (or simple Warpsmith) as the corrupted Magos/Archmagos

2) It can take almost all Imperial Guard stuff (giving you access to some extra things)

3) there is a unit called Marauders which is a DIY whatever-you-want unit and specifically includes an option called 'hereteks' in its entry

4) Most importantly it has the Chaos keyword so you could bring real nurgle support units if you ever wanted to

Why Aye Ya Canny Dakkanaughts!

It depends on whether you want to take any chaos stuff or not: if the Nurglyness is just a fluff aspect of your army then stay admech, but if you actually want to field Nurgle stuff (Daemons, Daemon engines, etc.) then I'd run Dark mechanicus.
