Hi

Me and my friend just played a game, dkok vs. DK, we got situation where Death Rider's got hit by smite (psy-skill).
Now, Death Rider's have ability (augmented mount) to ignore wound strength 4 or less, roll of 5+ , we couldn't decide either is it working or not on mortal wound's, that doesn't have strength like a smite so we had to roll dice 50/50.
What's your opinion on this case ?

Mortal wounds don't have any strength value. So they're not of strength 4 or less, and the ability doesn't apply to them.

You and your friend handled the situation well so you could move on and play.

Mortal Wounds typically don't have a Strength value and "null" is different than "zero" so I'd agree with fresus that it wouldn't come into play here. Seems to fit RAI for Mortal Wounds as well which is nice.

As above. No strength value is different from having a strength value of 0,1,2,3,or 4. It's like in previous editions with psychic tests that called for Ld tests on the target. They were useless against vehicles because not having a particular stat is different from having a value of 0 for a stat.
