I am just trying to get the idea of this straight before I think about potentially diving into this.

1/ if I have a Genestealer Cult Detachment and an Astra Militarum detachment, can the AM detachment use the Regimental Doctrines?

2/ On a related note also, I am guessing Tyranids can still allie with cult, but you can't take all 3 in a battleforged force?

3/ Is their an allie chart still?

2) You can take all 3. Same FAQ linked above clarifies that.

3) No, it's based on Keywords now.

1) Yes, because in order for them to be Battle Forged they must use the Brood Brothers rule, which changes all <REGIMENT> to Brood Brothers. Errata changed the Index https://whc-cdn.games-workshop.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/Index_Xenos_2_ENG.pdf As they are not a "named" regiment, they can RaW take any doctine they want (but lose some things that are exclusive to the "correct" regiment.)

Regarding question 1, the FAQ has pretty much the same Question and they cannot take any Regimental doctrines, relics or stratagems. In response to a very similar question, the FAQ states that: "No, Brood Brothers detachments cannot use any Regiments specific rules..."

Q: Can an Astra Militarum Detachment that is included in an army alongside a Genestealer Cults Detachment using the Brood Brothers rule gain a Regimental Doctrine, and can the units in such a Detachment use any of the regiment-specific Stratagems, Warlord Traits, Orders, Relics, etc.?

A: No, Brood Brothers Detachments cannot use any regiment-specific rules.

WIll have to get and see if I like the look of a 2000pt list from them both more than some fancy extras. I think the only way I can really think about Genestealer Cult is with AM at the moment though.

A tyranid detachment wouldn't be held back in the same way that an AM one would, and could take hive fleet bonuses. Also, RAW lets you use tyranid psyker powers and relics on GSC units with the <TYRANID> keyword.
