So I've painted a few models in the new green scheme GW have been using but after beginning painting Mortarion in the old scheme I much preferred it and have tried it out on a marine. I'll get petter pics of him tomorrow when I'm not too busy but so far I'm pretty happy with how he's turned out. What you can't see here but I'll show tomorrow is I've done metal on the backs of his legs on the segmented parts and it looks quite WWl. Was influenced by the pre-Heresy picture in the codex.
C&C welcome as usual, cheers guys

Looking great. Very clean job with good highlights. Mind if I ask about your recipe for the pale green trim?

Thanks Luciferian
If you mean the shoulders, I used Death Guard green washed with Agrax then highlighted with Ogrin Cammo and Elesian Green (can't remember which is brighter but I used one as the extreme highlight).

If you want to add a bit of "ewww" factor to the tentacled arm, use some watered down Blood for the Blood God.
Looks good otherwise.

That's a deliciously disgusting idea Kanluwen, I'm totally going to do that.
Here are the better pictures of my Plague Marine. I might add the Blood for the Blood God in the meantime and post that up later today.
P.S. I dropped him and broke bits off but luckily as both a Plague marine and a test model, that's not much of an issue haha.
