Heavily inspired by Moosatronic Warrior (I can't link it for some reason) for some 1500 point games vs the Imperials.

I end up with 7 CP in a less than ideal spread.

Deployment is the 3 Serpents and the 2 Reaper squads; 2 Serpents carrying FDs and DAs, 1 Serpent with the Banshees. HQs spread among them. Guardians waiting in the webway, Hawks in the sky. Should guarantee I go first with only 5 things to put on the table.

HQs have buffs to go around, with nice support for the Banshees when they get close enough. The Spiritseers both get rerolls to their Psychic stuff to make sure they go off.

Dragons pop out of the Serpents and deal with tank threats the Reapers can't reach.

Dire Avengers hop out to hold objectives or just murder with their catas.

Banshees charge troublesome units to hold them up or wipe some melee weak units.

Hawks are a shoehorn in after I think I need more AA, having not used them in forever I have no idea if they're even good vs Air.

Concerns:
1) The Reapers have a BIG target on their head as soon as they jump in. Not sure how to protect them unless I use Phantasm to back them out of the line of fire.
2) Hawks? Is it even worth bringing them?
3) 2 Reaper squads of 3? One squad of 6? The extra Exarch is nice but I haven't found him to make a load of difference in my games with them.
4) The Detachment structure could be better, giving me another CP if I change up some units. Not sure how worthwhile it'd be.
5) Is the Warlock even worth bringing? How much difference will Quicken make?

Open to criticism and edits, I like the core of the build with the DAs and FDs, not sure on the HQ powers (especially the warlock). Also looking for best course of action on my Heavy Support section. Are fewer shots with the Fire Prism better than the Reapers?

1) See point 4. Yep, they will have a big target, but you can screen and give them -2 to hit.

2) Depends on meta. They have a ****ton of shots, and the exarch is really good, however if your meta is exclusively mono-primaris then give them a miss.

3) Personally, I'd go one of 6. Although you lose a wound, it makes them easier to buff and you won't yield killpoints.

4) A cheeky option would be to do an additional alaitoc patrol. Put your warlock as the HQ, drop the hawks for some rangers, then bring 6 reapers with tempest launcher exarch. It doesn't improve CP, however your list isn't excessively CP heavy. This would make your reapers more durable, give you some wounds on small characters and a relatively durable screen.

5) Realistically... I haven't the foggiest. I like them, but I've gotten lucky with rolls. I'd definitely consider conceal if you're willing to make that third detachment. Not too sure about the other powers honestly, I generally avoid CC on my eldar due to the local meta. I feel like you may want to switch up the powers, it is a bit all in since you only have a single CC unit, but if it works it works! Again, personal preference on this one.

Reapers are better than fire prims for straight up damage, however they aren't as durable and degrade worse. I'd take reapers, but do give them some protection.

I'd be interested to see how dragons perform! They look strong, but I'm yet to give them a go. Best of luck! List looks good

You could utilize the Webway Portal for the Dragons and put Reapers in the Wave Serpent for protection. Or put the Reapers and Guardians in the Webway.

No earth shattering, thought provoking quote. I'm just someone who was introduced to 40K in the late 80's and it's become a lifelong hobby.

I second this. Fire Dragons in the Webway and Reapers deployed in the Wave Serpent. Reapers can disembark, move into cover and still shoot at 3+. Fire Dragons are a bit of a suicide squad but can still get close enough to decimate some stuff before biting the dust

I would bring the one big squad of reapers and buff them like crazy if you need to be defensive. This would make it cheaper CP wise for them to deep strike as well. It might even make it worth your while to bring the biel-tan warlord trait so you can get a free 'guide' for the reapers or fire dragons.
