Hi all.

Like most people I want to add some Obliterators to my Chaos marine army but am unwilling to buy the duff looking current models.

Can anyone show a side by side of an Aggressor and a current Obliterator? Maybe even a Termy as well to compare?

I have never seen either of these 2 models in the flesh but like the idea of using Aggressors as my Word Bearers are mostly MK IV marines so I think they would fit in with the.look of the army really well. Not a big fan of all the fleshy lumps!

I have seen some good Centurian conversions but they are pretty expensive!

I mostly just paint and only play occasionally but would really like to try playing in some tournaments this year so if the sizes are way out I assume they would be disallowed?

Cheers guys!

Quick googlin' picks up a few examples, with these from DFG being the best (also painted): http://darkfuturegaming.blogspot.com/2017/11/alpha-legion-obliterator-conversions.html

There are some god-tier chaos sculptor types over on B&C, can only imagine at least one of them will get their claws into the kit before long and properly filigree it up.

Loving those thanks!

Great idea with using the catapharacti claws, I even have a set of those on sprue!

I guess my question still stands about sizes though. Can anyone compare them?

I have no tournament experience, do you think most people would accept these as counts as? Obviously painted up to match my Army.

I think they look cool!

I'll be planning to try this as I haven't been happy with my first couple of Obliterator-bashes.

I'll be waiting for the easy-to-build Aggressors - they're on pre-order on eBay for around $22 shipped. That coupled with some bits should be pretty easy.

I would heavily suggest replacing the heads though as that's the most aggressor-looking bit.

Woah this is an awesome idea. And those were really well executed. definitely going to try this as well

Facts are chains that bind perception and fetter truth. For a man can remake the world if he has a dream and no facts to cloud his mind.
