Hi people ! I have a 2k point game this friday against Orks (no idea what I'll be facing).

I'm trying to do a Black Legion gunline with has many bodies as possible, focusing on the stratagems Let the Galaxy Burn and Endless Cacophony. Tell me what you think of this list :

Oooo. I love Black Legion gunlines.

This one scares me a little, but maybe it's because you are calling it a gunline. I don't see the big guns.

Each of those CSM squads can take a Lascannon. At those sizes, you can daisy chain troop movement so that the Lascannons don't need to move and they will always be close to the Chaos Lord for the rerolls.

The Berzerkers concern me. I assume you are bringing them up in the Rhinos and deep striking the Terminators for a 1-2 punch. This sacrifices turn 1 shooting in favor of close combat, which can be okay. I would consider finding a way to include a laspred or some havocs instead of one of the Berzerker units to give you some long range offense right at the start.

Other than that, IMHO the reason you take Black Legion is for Abaddon. Might be a good idea to find a way to get him in place of the Chaos Lord.

Imo you really should be taking some oblitoraters and axe the terminators. Oblits are some of the most powerful units for chaos. Keep a sorcerer near them to cast prescience on them, and with the strat to give +1 to wound when shooting, you can almost garunteed they will be hitting and wounding anything on 2s and 2s and at worst their weapons are auto cannons, at best statisticly better laz cannons.

I imagine you big csm squads would have mowed thru ork mobs with the lord rerolls.

I won first turn since it was an open war scenario and I only needed to kill my opponent courier.
