Going to be doing a last minute 1000 pt all melee battle tonight before the UFC fights. Going against my friends Stormcasts. He loves to turtle them up with shields and starsoul maces with a couple support leaders.

I'm thinking of something along the lines of...

Daemon Prince of Khorne with Dark Avenger and Runeblade (Leader)
Bloodsecrator (portal buff)

(2x5) Chaos Warriors with shields
(2x5) Wrathmongers
(2x10) Blood Reavers
(1) Chaos Spawn (to burn up extra points)

Figuring 2 clusters of Warrs up front, Reavers second, mongers third. Sprawl out warrs and reavers into front line and wrap then mongers as second line with the 2" attacks. Daemon prince and spawn bouncing around for support and try to pressure his command. With the buffs I'm thinking DP should be able to nuke most of what he comes into contact with as long as I stay away from his SC monster hunters with spears. Yes, we are pretty much planning to march into each other and have it out. Just a pre-party brawl while hangin' out pretty much. :p

Thoughts? Better list idea to smash him into gold pulp? Thanks in advance everyone!

At the end of combat turn 5 I won by 12 points! Wrathmongers were putting in some work!
