Can you get Jink and stay in the same place by flying in a circle for the turn? or like 10" out and 10" back in the same turn?

I'm assuming this is 7th edition. In which case

Jink doesn't need you to move, only that you declare it during your opponents shooting phase, and only if that unit is being targeted for a shooting attack. Movement doesn't matter when jinking

I'm assuming this is for 8th, in which case:

As long as the (Ravenwing) unit declares an Advance, it doesn't matter if it actually moves (with the exception of the flyers, which have a minimum movement value) - you'll be suffering all the disadvantages of Advancing (only firing Assault weaponry etc.) regardless of if you actually move.
