By Patron Request, a quick easy tutorial on creating true metallic bronze and copper, along with oxidation, or verdigris.
I explain how to get a copper colour, and demonstrate how to paint bronze.
The patina or verdigris applies to both bronze and copper.
All paints used in this tutorial are Formula P3 by Privateer Press unless stated otherwise.
Base - Molten Bronze
Shade - 2 drops Brown Ink, 1 Drop Turquoise Ink, Matte Medium, and Water. Thin as needed to make a thick wash.
Highlight 1 - Rhulic Gold (Bronze) or Molten Bronze (Copper)
Highlight 2 - Highlight 1 + a few drops of Radiant Platinum
Highlight 3 - Highlight 2 + a few drops of Radiant Platinum
