Does the mortal wound on a 4+ that triggers from an ossefactor killing an enemy model trigger more possible d6 rolls?

"This weapon wounds on a 2+, unless it is targetting a Vehicle in which case it wounds on a 6+. If a model is slain by this weapon, the model's unit immediately suffers a mortal wound on a D6 roll of 4+.

No, the other model(s) didn't die from the weapon but rather they died from a side effect.

This argument has actually popped up before. I'm not sure a consensus was ever reached. One side argued that yes you could potentially get additional MWs because you met the requirement of killing a model. The other side had 2 arguments being;

1. The weapon didn't kill a model with mortal wounds but the weapon's special rule did.

2. The rule states that "If a model is slain..." meaning if you kill 1 or 10 the requirement is a model so it'll only trigger once as it doesn't state "for any models slain"

Correct, no consensus was reached. Both arguments have some merit, but we're just not sure.

New FAQ clarifies that, no, you don't get extra mortal wounds.
