This 2000pt list is based of 2 Outrider Detachments and a Supreme Command Detachment to give 6 command points. The plan with this list is to use the Speed of the Raven Stratagem to be able to get quickly up the board and into combat, using the buffs from the Ancient and the Chaplain, and the Weapons of the Dark Age stratagem with overcharged plasma weapons to put damage on any tough units. The Adeptus Custodes will provide the hard hitting close combat power for the list and will be able to thin out any larger blobs of infantry. The Interrogator Chaplain will be the Warlord to be able to gain back CPs on a 5+.

My main concern with this list is that although it has a high damage output it is fragile and by the end of a game there aren't many models left to contest objectives .

I know this list is far from optimised and would appreciate any comments on this list or alternatives.

Outrider Detachment 1 985pts

HQ. Sammael - Corvex 183

E. Ravenwing Ancient - Black Knight Bike 112

F. Ravenwing Black Knights - 4 Black Knights, Huntsmaster 230

HQ. Shield Captain on Dawneagle Jetbike - Hurricane Bolter, Misericordia 164

2000 total

Thanks for all the help in advance.

Looks good. Very expensive list though, in terms of actual purchase price. This list will heavily rely on turn 1 and 2 shooting and charges before it gets bogged down. As long as you play as aggressive as the list is written you should be fine.

Btw, those 3 custodes bikes are a royal pain in the butt, good addition.

You don't need two Darkshrouds. Consider some Scouts to create space for your bikes.

Yeah but that'll make it a non-all bike army.

Cheers for the reply. In my opinion having two darkshrouds allows me to spread the army out a bit more for board control and still have the -1 to hit on the majority of units. Also from past experience, the darkshrouds tend to get targeted heavily.

It's not so much that I'm avoiding using everything but bikes, it's just that I think it works. Any advice on non-bike units apart from scouts (which I'll try) would also be very helpful.

I would take out the Chaplain and free up points for a Talon Master with the heavenfall blade.

im going to have to agree with a couple of other posters here.

Scouts... these guys are your protection against deep strikers, alpha strikes and 1st turn chargers.

The Talonmaster with Heavenfall blade is almost to good to pass up in this list.

Dump one DS
Dump the ABs ( if you need points)
Chaplain...meh

Make one squad of RW Knights bigger for WotDA

push all into one outrider
create a Battalion

Battalion give you 2 more CPs
