You can only swap it for a pistol or combi weapon.

Tweaks.. (which are all double edged swords so ih)
Would try and get one prince in the CSM detachment, as the re-roll aura then effects all models. Could use herald for chaper daemon hq.

Up the blood letters to ~30. yes it uses an extra CP but you can afford it. Gives you protection against overwatch casualties.

Can't summon the little units as they are needed to fill the detachment (i wish khorne had a cheap troop..)
Play it by ear, but could be worth giving them instrument and using denizens,

Guns are minimum , but what can you do. All my lists seem to miss them altogether lol .

I don't feel like I need any rerolls and switching the DP to CSM would be a lot of work. If I took a Bloodmaster he'd consume another CP and he'd be unlikely to make the charge. Then I'd need to replace one of my CSM HQs, which are both useful, or trim points elsewhere. I used to run the DP as CSM, but having the exalted champion and the dark apostle take up the CSM HQ made it easier to squeeze 2 battalions.

About the Bloodletters, where would I get those extra points? I could drop the Havocs. I could drop the Havocs and Obliterators for a Predator Annihilator. I'm not sure it's really even important, though. They've performed well enough without their 2+ WS and I've found that a unit of 30 sometimes is too big to fit in the location I want to put it in! I'm not against this idea, I just wonder what is worth sacrificing for those extra 70 points. What will 30 Bloodletters do that 20 weren't going to handle?

I think the 2x10 Bloodletters will guard my havocs and obliterators.
