So I kind of used logic and I think I understand what would happen, but I just recently got into Minotaurs (Primarily a Death Guard player) and am looking at chapter tactics and since they have no confirmed gene seed I just pick whatever. But soon I'm going to pick up an Asterion Moloc model with has specific rules for Minotaurs.
So essentially my question is, when Asterion Moloc has the Aura of "All Minotaurs within 6 inches can reroll all failed wound rolls." Does that conflict with say if I chose black templar tactics because then all miniatures are treated as Black Templars? Or do they stack with each other because the chapter tactic gets added onto them because it's kind of overarching?

There isn't a conflict. You are saying that the Minotaurs are a successor chapter of the Black Templar. That allows you use of the Black Templar chapter tactic and stratagems. IIRC, the relic is limited to actual Black Templars.

Okay, than this made me a lot more interested.
The Geneseed of the Minotaurs is described as "Chymeric" meaning multiple chapters, so I have my free reign to choose

The only restrictions you have are not using the Warlord Trait or Relic of the Progenitor Chapter. I play Raptors and use RG, though for fluff reasons my opponents usually don't care if I decide to use a different tactic/stratagem from time to time since the Raptors are very adaptive in their way of fighting and meeting opponents.

Actually in the case of Raptors they are canonically Raven Guard successors so MUST use the Raven Guard chapter tactics. That is not optional.

Everything is optional if your opponent agrees, as the above poster’s do.

Check the rules if going to events though. Some are stricter than others.
