Everyone keeps going on about this amazing looking Ork army that won Warhammer Fest but I can not for the life of me find any pictures or videos of the games it played. Nit even GW took a picture of the army to show off... can someone please link me some pictures or a video or something so I can see these Ork models!

These could just be people upset an Ork player actually wom though. You k ow what the 40k community can be like, it's very childish and can sometimes lack sportsmanship both ways (so it's hard to say what is and is not true... might be people salty they lost or might be true).

Yeah, the thread in the tournament section goes into plenty detail about it...and it's not the most shining example of gameplay.

No problem if he had won fairly. But 2-3 turns and deliberately playing slow is another thing. Only way orks can win tournament is 2-3 turn games so no wonderhe did it

What are the boats supposed to count as? Trukks?

Sisters and Wolves 4000
~4000 points of Skaven
~2000 Kaptain Gitklaw's Grots
~2400 Kharadron Overlords
4x Imperial Knights

Those flying boats are rad! I'm curious to know what they are too...

I play...

Sigh.

Who am I kidding? I only paint these days...

My first guess would actually be grot mega tanks, but they're a rather unsung badass of ork vehicles that seem outclassed by sheer boyz. Hence my guess at trukks..

I bet the flying boats are meant to be the helicopters from forgeworld.

....Really? Well...okay then. I think I'm just gonna make mine a mega tank. Unless somehow the warcopta is crazy better.

But on topic it's still a neat conversion idea and I think I shall be stealing it.

Well chinork gives you open topped deep striking transport. So ability to deep strike 10 tank bustass somewhere safe from being alpha striked.

Also considering 10 burna's in 1. 24" movement, burn away with 10 burna and skorcha. Maybe not competive but at least fun.

10 Burnas = 20 shots on average which is 10 wounds vs T4....So you have inflicted 3 unsaved wounds on a Space Marine on average. Add in the skorcha, you get 1 more. So definitely not competitive.
