So, I finally, after much deliberation about how I want to tackle a Tyranid list, have come up with this monstrosity. It's meant to be my end goal Tyranid list, with the ability to adapt the list to lower point games while having a list for apoc. I mainly want suggestions that others have had playing tyranids and if this list is weak towards certain army lists. Also this list is not for tournaments, most casual play.

Strategy: Deploy the Swarmlord, Old One Eye, the Hive Tyrant, the 2 Devilgant Broods, the Tyrant Guard, the 2 Maleceptors, the 2 Stone Crusher Carnifexes, and the Scythed Heirodule during deployment, with the gants in front of the main formation. Keep the rest of the army in reserve. Using Jormungandr's hive trait, most of my deployed army will have 2+ Armor Save so long as I don't charge or advance. This is fine because I plan to slowly move up the board, tanking hits as best I can, while giving the enemy a major scare when it's my first turn.

That being the BroodLord, the Red Terror, the 20 strong gargoyle brood, 2 6-strong ravaner brood, 2 16-strong genestealer broods, 2 30-strong hormagant broods, and finally 2 Trygon Primes. They will deploy close in to the enemy and try to get stuck in immediately, tying up the enemy in close combat. Those that can shoot will shoot, while the Brood Lord will cast The Horror on whatever unit the genestealers are going to be piling into. The Red Terror will boost the CC abilities of the Ravaners but isn't going character hunting.

While this is happening, the rest of the army will advance, using smite and Psychic Scream to support the forward element. the Carnifexes will pile into tanks and buildings, while the Swarmlord and Hive Tyrant with their guards will tackle Special Characters.

So, what are your guys' thoughts.

If this is an APOC list, you are going to need more shooty anti tank. Need Hive Guard, Biovores, Tyrannofex. Also, I would't bother with the extended carapace/jorm combo on the GS. It discussed heavily in the tactics thread, its better just to go kraken and get them in fast. Kraken is going to serve you much better with the amount of fast moving melee based units you have. Especially if they change the DS rules that are currently in Beta, that will neuter Jorm pretty badly imo.
