If I take Slaves to Darkness as my Allegiance, is everything not Slaves to Darkness an Ally then?

If you wish to play "Slaves to Darkness" with their special rules and artefacts then yes, you will need to only be using units with the "Slaves to Darkness" in their keywords box, anything without this in the chaos scrolls can be taken as an ally.

This gets slightly more confusing if you wish to play say only Nurgle alligned Slaves to Darkness in which case you can choose to do the same as above or give them Nurgle allegiance instead of Slaves to Darkness and then use them as part of a Mortal Nurgle/Maggotkin army.

The above applies to Slaanesh/Khorne/Tzeentch and their respective tomes/GHB factions also.

So if I just go plain Allegiance to Chaos, I can take anything, but I don't get the StD special rules and artefacts, correct?
