Hey everybody,

Doing an ITC tourney this coming weekend, below is the list, I am looking to buy a third squad of oblits but they won't get here in time for the tournament, this is about the best list I think I could build given the time constraints and my collection, let me know what you think.

PS I realize the heavy bolter is kind of an odd man out in the havoc squad but there was no where else in the list I was willing to take a 5 point hit to upgrade it to autocannon at least at this point.

Heh. I would not discount the Heavy Bolter. Targets of opportunity do present themselves.

I have some thoughts about this list, but really want how you plan to use your HQs with this army. Who are Abaddon and the DP going to buff, how do you see yourself running them?

At first, I was thinking the DP really belongs in the World Eaters detachment, but you are getting rerolls to hit and to wound with the EC and the DA. I guess I was thinking they are going to have some issues keeping up with the Berzerkers once they spread out, but that might not be a reason to change them.

So abaddon goes with the obliterators for rerolls, there's literally nothing in the game at 2k that can live through oblits shooting three times in my experience unless it has a high tier invuln and get's insanely lucky. Daemon prince is in there because they are just that good, they can cast spells, they are insanely tough, and they hit like a truck. Death Hex in a competitive format is super good, against custodes bikers, eldar, daemons, etc.
