It's time for another Rulebook Review from GW; this time the legendary Troupes and Guardians of the Black Library have been unleashed on the Battlefield with new Relics, Strategems and Battle Traits in the 41st Millennium.
You all don't understand. I'm not locked in here with you; you're all locked in here with me.
A lot of these things look really fun, doesn't fix the army to a hyper-competitive level but that's not the level I play at. The stratagems and relics seem fun as well as the extra psychic powers.
Assault d6 on the Haywire cannons is very, very strong and gives Skyweavers a reason to exist in armies.
All in all, good job. I wasn't expected new units so I'm not disappointed, and the stratagems and ways to play seem to have been at least slightly thought out. With multiple access to damage mitigation, re-rolls to hit and wound where needed, strong mobility and close range shooting options. I'm happy.
This is all Harlequins needed, a bag of tricks. What magician would be complete with their bag of tricks?

DakkaDakka is really the place where you need anti-tank guns to kill basic dudes, because anything less isn't durable enough.
Hey, hope right place to ask. Are Harlequins pricy to field about 1500 pts? I mean in bucks, because Im building 3 armies and fourth would have to be.....slightly cheaper than my IG, NL or Necron Same as Eldar or cheaper? Im counting on Harlequins being elite force...

Definitely cheaper. Lack of start collecting box is a problem but they have no units that even approach a 1$ per point price. Troupes are basically a full troupe+a 90 point HQ. Worst price is 99pts for like 50$ for the transport.
