This is my 1/48 scale Bandai AT ST kit. I felt that the original design lacked a bit of realism..... that sounds ridiculous now that I read "realism" in the context of Star Wars. Anyways, I have been really interested in Sherman tanks lately so I decided to incorporate a lot of those elements into the AT ST. I added all sorts of little attachment points, antennas, wenches, hitches, etc. I was thinking about the functionality of the vehicle, as functional as it could be considering the walker chassis is an inherently unstable and inefficient means of toting firepower around the battlefield.I had a ton of fun making this and I hope you enjoy my humble product.

Flawless!

Life is like a box of chocolates. A cheap, thoughtless and perfunctory gift nobody ever asked for. Unreturnable because all you get back is another box of chocolates. So you're stuck with this undefinable whipped mint crap that you mindlessly wolf down because there's nothing left to drink. Sure once in a while there's a peanut butter cup or a English toffee, but they're gone too fast and the taste is fleeting. So you end up with nothing but broken bits of hardened jelly and teeth shattering nuts. If you're desperate enough to eat those all you've got left is a. An empty box, filled with useless brown paper wrappers.

It may not be realistic, but it's still one of my favorite robot walking things. and you've painted it up great!

I feel like this one is even a little bit safer in case of ewoks, thanks to your additions

realism is a lie

Just saw this on the dakka front page. Speechless.

I will look back at this model for learning and inspiration for years to come.

Gorgeous work. Love the weathering. The white stripe is perfect.

Looks pretty sharp and it's nice to see someone finally do a non-Nazi alt paint scheme on a Star Wars vehicle!
