After playing WH40K RT and Space Hulk back in the 90s, I started reading Black Library novels a few years ago. Now after a 25 year break I've decided to dip my toes in the water again with First Strike

One month in and I've played through all the First Strike missions and painted all the miniatures

6 months on and I now have a fully-painted WYSIWYG SM army and a full set of rulebooks
Since buying First Strike I've spent another £275 on rules, miniatures and gaming accessories (not to mention £100 on painting and modelling accessories), but it's great to be properly back in the hobby
I'm now playing 800 point matched play regularly with friends as well as at the local gaming group's club night and buying WD again!
