Hey everyone, TLR is basically can the pack leader take a melee weapon? (battlescribe forces you to take a melee weapon) but the FAQ changes the entry for the WG Bikers or is the pack leader exempt because pack leader?

Sorry if this is a silly question but i'd prefer to get confirmation than play something i shouldnt be - thanks for reading

Wolf Guard on Bikes don't have a separate entry for the Pack Leader's weapons, it just says "Any model", so the Pack Leader has a Chainsword by default and can swap it for something else. The only way for Wolf Guard bikers to not have a melee weapon is to swap the Chainsword for a Storm Shield or Plasma Pistol.

As far as I can tell currently Battlescribe correctly requires every model to have a chainsword or one of it's replacements.

Battlescribe should not be used as a rule source, if you think something is wrong, double check the errata and exact wording of the entry.

Well the main reason i asked is because battlescribe allows the pack leader to have chainsword/stormbolter/storm shield which afaik because of the FAQ they can only have 2 weapons per bike - why i asked

due to the chainsword being swapped out for a stormshield, and the pistol for a stormbolter

Quelle surprise, Battlescribe is wrong, yet again.

Like I said, don't use Battlescribe as a rules source. If you can be bothered, report the bug but be prepared to have your comments edited and general hostility for daring to question their omnipotence.
