Just started my Drukhari army. Below is my attempt at a 2000pt list. I'm going with Kabal and Cult with no chance of using any coven units. There are some points left over but please advise your thoughts. I'd like some pointers on the finer things like prefered load oats for wyches, archon, etc. ALso what units should take what drugs.

Black Heart

Archon: Warlord, Lab of cunning; whit of living muse; agonizer, splinter pistol (sticks with Ravagers)
Archon: Blast Pistol, huskblade (rides in wyches raider)

5 warriors: blaster (rides in venom)
5 warriors: blaster (rides in venom)

Comes to 1947 points. Any help is appreciated. Thinking of maybe adding a 3rd Succubus and creating a red grief fast attached detachment for the reavers. Nets an extra CP too.

Very strong list

If you are leaning toward the fast attack detachment, I might drop the guns on some of the reavers, split them into 3x3 and then grab yourself that detachment.

If you run strife for the +1 attack (which is solid anyway), you can swap one of the succubi for leilith for some variety, which is nice as well.

Bare in mind that the +1 strength does nothing for your reavers, so the +1 attack trait might be a better choice.

I've considered a few changes to the list and wondering if this improves it's effeciency. Can someone confirm it is ok to use index and codex in ITC?

Minor point but I would drop a single wych from one of the squads so your 2nd Archon can mount up if he so needs.

Good point, I also don't think it's necessary to make the second red grief detachment. Think I may just do one big 12 man reaver squad with blasters and grav with the toughness drug

A p-sword with S3 is kinda weak. I would keep the huskblade, with its S increase and d3 damage.

As kabalites are the unit that dies easiest in a drukhari list (and that is saying something ), I would not spend on a blaster per unit. Far better, if you have 5 more bodies, to use the Trueborn from the index, and have 4 of those in a unit of Elites and focused purpose.

If there are going to be more Imp Knights in your meta, or there is definitely a Morty or Maggy or a ShadowSword in your future (like that one TFG at your local store), you might consider DLs to deal better with big wound models.

It used to be worth the 2nd gun in 5e, but not anymore. I suggest take naked venoms, no upgrades.

I think the math works out better for a Str increase, instead of the extra attack, landing more wounds at the end of all the rolling, anyway. I plan to use the Cursed Blade (+1S) and the morale limit, *and* the Combat Drug for Str. I feel that a 2 attacks at S5 is going to to better than 3 at S4.

I have no input with Reavers.

No blasters on the reavers?

Lilith is cult of strife, you can't take her in the cursed blade detatachment, well you can but if you do everyone losses their obsessions.

Wythes are 2 attacks base plus 1 from their weapons.
