Looking to make some Crusaders for warhammer 40k, but am unwilling to buy the official models from GW, due to the cost and the fact that they only have 2 models. So a 10 man team would all have 2 poses. Was planning to use the AOS Sequitors and kitbash them to have swords and shields, but will they fit on the 25mm bases like the Crusaders are supposed to have? I they will not fit the bases, what other GW models can I kitbash to make Crusaders?

They will definitely not fit on the 25mm bases, they're on far bigger bases. My advice would be Skitarii with either https://www.games-workshop.com/en-CA/Stormcast-Eternals-Knights-Excelsior-Upgrades or Pop Goes the Monkey accessories from Shapeways.
