I was really excited to be building the new GW scenery. I ordered both a basilicanum and a sanctum kit which arrived today, and which I started building..

Wow.. absolute nightmare. Pieces were warped, loads of fiddly pieces that didn't fit together properly. Duplicates of the same piece on seperate sprues slightly different sizes.

All in all It's so far been the worst experience building GW terrain I've had. I've got tons of the 40k ruins and I know they have a reputation for being poor in some aspects but I've never had issues this bad with them.

Normally I love the GW terrain and I find the sector mechanicus, old 40k Terrain, and the other stuff to be brilliant.

Am I the only one who's found this? Wondering if I've got a bad batch or something.

That's unfortunate, if true. We'll definitely know shortly with the release of Kill Team. If they're that bad, it'll be a big deal.
