I made a little effect on the canopy, inwhich supposedly the side flash of the Splinter Cannon is reflected. Alteast for now I didn't model the gunner on, as I tend to keep a Kabalite aboard to keep track which transport has who onboard, but might do it later.
A tutorial for the undercoat can be found on the Nemesis Wargaming -site.
Edit: Updated the completed fig.

Good job!
I think that that the reflection on canopy is good but in my opinion the lighting source must be a little bit brighter. (correct me if i am wrong i am not that good with osl).
Is the light comin' out from the bottom of the cannon ? Your reflaction is saying so but from the picture seems that light only comes out from the side of the cannon.
btw nice model!

Cheers. I forgot to mention that I didn't really go for a realistic approach, I just made it because it felt like a cool thing to do. In general, I'm not much for realism myself when painting, somehow it doesn't matter to me.

Looks really sharp!
The red color is dark enough that it does not look like a Craft World - Eldar Vehicle.
Dark Eldar have some really cool vehicles, I have always wanted to pick up some fighters and a bomber for My collection.
Great Work! Thank You for sharing! :-)

Righto, got the Venom finished and posted it up there. Had a small hiatus with finished miniatures as I painted ~2700p of Aeldari into the three colour tournament standard and made them bases. I'm posting finished miniatures here, but if you want to follow the army progress and stuff related to it (gaming, etcetra) you can check it out on the NWG site (in my sig.)

Next up a simple kitbash, a "count as" Solitaire for my army. I never was much for the clown aesthetic, so I made something that fits the theme. Some comedy value added by the grappling hook which is probably gonna give her a clumsy entrance very soon. Small addition to the hair by making it red and white striped, but it adds a bit of edge to her look.

Thanks fellas. Currently I'm working on some Skyweavers, but continuing the color theme for the army. I'm glad you like them.
