I've been writing fluff for my army as part of a local campaign, and I've found myself stumbling with some terminology. Obviously the big three "leaders" of the drukhari are archons, succubi (archites), and haemonculi, but what do you call the guys above and below them on the totem pole? For instance, Lady Aurelia Malys is the archon of my Poisoned Tongue Kabal, but the Poisoned Tongue is implied to be large and powerful enough to contain numerous kabals' worth of underlings. So what do you call the guy that basically runs a kabal of his own but does so as an underling of Malys? Do those of especially great rank/prestige get some sort of additional title to express control over multiple archons/cults or something?
Dracons and Syrens (dracites) seem to be second-in-commands to a given archon or succubus respectively, but I always got the impression that those terms were reserved for a single, favored individual. And if you're a "dracon" to someone as powerful as Malys with kabal's worth of forces under your personal control, aren't you still basically an archon at that point? At one point, there were Haemonculi Ancients as opposed to regular haemonculi, but that may have been more about strict seniority rather than rank (even though we know there's a lot of crossover between those two in some covens).
Also, what about various other factions from the dark city? We know incubi are lead by klaivex who are lead by hierarchs. How about these guys though?
Scourges are lead by solarites are lead by...? (Solarchs?)
Mandrakes are lead by nightfiends are lead by...? (Shadow kings?)
Lhameans? Surely there's some sort of hierarchy at Hogwarts for Poisoners.
