I'm soon starting work on Guilliman again, and before I stopped, I'd had the idea of making him look more regal, like the Imperial Regent should look in my head. I'm doing his armour predominantly gold, and I want to add a cloak and a point cloth, but I'm wondering if anyone has any tips on how to do this/ any examples?
Ideally I'd try to use a cloak that's already in production, as I'm confident enough to sculpt around the edges to make one fit, but not confident enough to sculpt a whole cloak.
I'm also leaning towards pteruges at the groin, similar to his 30k model, which I'm fault certain I can sculpt decently enough.

Does anyone have any tips on how to do the cloak, better ideas for the loincloth, or any tips on blinging him up in general?
Also, here's what I've got so far.

Cheers in advance folks!

I have seen a bunch of gold Guillimans, they should show up on google? Or look for the Emperor conversions people have done.

Really you should look of colors of “royalty”. Purple was a royal color. If you weren’t a Roman emperor and wore purple they could kill you.

I had considered purple as a spot colour for this reason, but I've decided to stick to colours usually shown on the Emperor (gold and crimson) and the blue and white of the Ultramarines, I don't want to over do it on strong colours.

Pteruges would suit better to my mind than a loincloth, as for the cloak, one of my friends did that for a Dorn conversion. He cut and shaped a paper version first and then used that as a template to roll out a thin layer of green stuff. Worked pretty well.
