Ooooo~ That is neat. Do the cannons light up too, or is that just effective paint giving them that glow?

For the cannons, it's just a paint effect. I didn't want a complicated wiring project.
There is only a single light at the bottom of the model.
Before assembly, I hollowed out the pieces that could get direct light from it. The cannons wouldn't have, so I just paint white underneath the green rods so they would appear to glow.
I also painted the entire interior white to better reflect the light inside

I am one minute thinking what to write. Well, woooow.!!!

You realized a very nice work here, i like it a lot. Really.

This mus looks amazing on the table. Fantastic.

I was thinking. Maybe you can try and add to the door part of a Inmortal comming out. First cut the body you like to add amd without glue try to see how it looks. Just an idea.

I love it! It really gives me a sense of the whole "eerie Necron glow" that I've read so much about in the fluff! It's very well painted with some nice details.

Thanx again everyone. This is one of my favorite models and makes a great centerpiece for the very small collection of Necrons I have:

Sorry for the thread Necro, but I just figured out how to make GIFs with my phone and I'm trying to figure out how to post them.
Looks like it works. I'll be posting similar GIFs in the future

I usually don't like internal lighting, tends to be a little too overpowering. But it works insanely well for this, looks outstanding

Monolith looks very nice.

What are you using to make the gif? Kinda interested in trying that out myself. Some models just don’t look good in still pics, even with multiple angles.

I don't know the program name. It's just the standard video editor on my Samsung Galaxy. It allows me to make up to 6 seconds of any video into a GIF
